Vatertagswochenende Rallye 4, June 12-15, 2025
Get ready for an unforgettable weekend of adventure, camaraderie, and scenic drives at the Vatertagswochenende Rallye 4! This year’s event will be held in the picturesque Black Hills, with a base camp in Lead, SD. We’ve got an exciting lineup of events, including thrilling drives, scenic exploration, and plenty of opportunities to showcase your ride.
Show and Shine:
Kick things off by showing off your car at our Show and Shine event. Whether you have a classic beauty or a modern powerhouse, this is your chance to put your car in the spotlight and connect with fellow enthusiasts.
Scenic Drives:
We’ll be hitting the open road, driving through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the country. Expect stunning views, curvy mountain roads, and wide-open highways as we explore both South Dakota and Wyoming. It’s the perfect time to soak in the beauty of the Black Hills and experience some thrilling driving.
Explore Deadwood, SD:
You won’t want to miss a visit to the historic town of Deadwood, SD! Spend time exploring the iconic wild west town, rich in history and full of charm.
Group Dinners:
Our weekend wouldn’t be complete without great food and great company. Join us for group dinners where we’ll enjoy hearty meals together and reflect on the day’s adventures. Share stories, laughs, and plans for the next day’s journey!

Run for the Hills August 21-23, 2025
This is always a favorite event for the Dakota Region! Further details will be provided soon for the 3-day event.
Arrive Thursday evening to enjoy great rides on Friday and Saturday.
RV-BOWWOW September 9-11, 2025
Like most of the Dakota Region’s big events, the Driftless Region of Wisconsin and Minnesota has hit the maximum number of entries six months before it starts! Keep an eye on this website for other great drives hosted by Dakota Region! Please celebrate with us for the 20th running of the annual drive to the Driftless Region of Wisconsin and Minnesota. The first run in 2006 has continued in its tradition, and this will be a special anniversary year. Arrival day is Tuesday, September 9th, with drives on the 10th and 11th of September, 2025 (Wednesday and Thursday). It will continue with the Treffen-style format, with focused small group drives and destinations of interest to all. No meals are arranged, so participants are encouraged to check out the foodie scene in the area. There will be a concours on the first day of the drives, so remember to bring your ceramic liquid of choice and a veritable cornucopia of microfiber towels. 20 cars will still be the limit. The Hampton Inn and Suites continues to serve as the host hotel in La Crosse, WI.

Canyon to Canyon Tour September 27, 2025
5th Annual Canyon to Canyon Tour
Join your PCA friends and family for a great day touring the Black Hills without the Tourists clogging up the roads! The driving this time of year is stellar.
This one-day event will start and end in Rapid City, SD and explore the numerous and beautiful canyons and fall scenery of the Black Hills.
When: Saturday, September 27th, 2025
Where: Meet at Koyote Koffee, 3464 Sturgis Rd. Rapid City, SD 57702
8:30 AM Meet-up
8:50 AM Driver’s Meeting
9:00 Depart for the tour
Why: This may be the last opportunity to get-out and drive without the gravel and loose impediments that seem to find their way onto the roads when the weather starts to turn.
Please RSVP by September 20th to: DakotaRegionPCA@gmail.com so we have a solid number for lunch reservations. There is no charge for this tour.
The drive will end at a local restaurant for refreshments, food and beverages for anyone so inclined. Participants pay for their own food and refreshments throughout the tour.
